Schalk and Marlene have been with us at Kawana Waters Uniting Church since May 2010.

So it is with sadness that we come together to say “Good-bye” this weekend. However, our sadness is overshadowed by our celebrations of a wonderful and joyful journey of the past 14 years.

Schalk has been a tremendous minister of the Word and a faithful shepherd to this flock.

We will be holding the closure service directly after our usual morning service, although please note there will only be one service at 9:00 am. From the end of the service we will be serving an extra special morning tea and sharing some special words with Schalk and Marlene.

We would love to have the company of any-one who may have experienced the love, warmth and friendship of this very special couple.
