Worship Services

Worship Services

Sunday visitors of all ages can expect a warm and respectful welcome to our church, with uplifting worship and encouraging, biblically-based messages at our morning worship services.
The 8:00 am service is slightly more traditional in style, while the 9:30 am service is more contemporary.
During school terms, children share in our 9:30 servicefor the first part and then proceed to the Kingdom kids ministry in the meeting room.
Each Sunday the scripture reading and sermon is available online on our Facebook page and at kawanawatersuc.com.au.
Holy Communion is available at both services on the first Sunday of the month and also online.

Schalk Pienaar

Schalk has been a minister in placement at Kawana Waters Uniting Church since 1 May, 2010. He seeks to expound the scriptures faithfully through diligent study and prayer and holding fast to the traditions of our faith. The goal of his preaching is to give glory to God and to build up the congregation to grow in their own faith experience and love for Jesus in the reality of our day-to-day living.

Worship

Our worship team is passionate and enthusiastic in leading the congregation to a meaningful place during our Sunday Services. We try to cater for different styles of worship with the 8am service being more traditional and the 9:30 service being a little more contemporary.
We love to create a whole experience – from the decor in the background, the banners on display, to the careful and considered selection of songs to lead our congregation in worship during the service. The worship team aims to compliment Schalk’s words each Sunday, through our songs of praise and worship.
On behalf of the team, Welcome!

Pick of the Week

Our minister, Rev. Schalk Pienaar will soon be leaving our worship team, as he retires on 30 April. So we feature some of Schalk’s favourite songs this week.
